Saturday was the big event for our dear friend Terry. Friends and family gathered at Linda and Terry's to celebrate his official retirement.

Kris and I arrived early enough to help Linda get the food out, tables set, and party supplies ready. Linda is well organized and had there home looking quite spectacular.  Terry's agenda includes a solo bike trip down through the canyon-lands. He showed me his bike set up, camping chair video (chair hasn't arrived yet) and we talked about his route plans and other details. He plans on departure in a couple of weeks. Wish I were going with him. He will do the whole route, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Utah etc. on quiet back roads. Highway 50 across Nevada is labeled as the quietest, most remote highway in the continental U.S.

Since Kris and I were out way past our bedtime we are having a "soft clothes" kind of Sunday. Next, back to work....
