Hello from Africa !!
We made it to Dar es Salaam in a mere 31 hours of awake time.   Everything went well other than 2 very long, as in 9 hours plus, plane rides.  We have been transported to a different world.

Gordon, Debbie, and Raychel reunited in
Dar es Salaam

Our first day here we negotiated a taxi ride from the hotel the bus stand to take the bus to Morogoro.   Raychel,  Gordon and Debbies daughter,  met us in Dar and she took over getting the bus tickets.   The bus stand was a chaotic places with dozens of buses and people everywhere.     After a 3 hours ride we arrived in Morogoro.  They drive on the left , fast, passing other buses and car, motorcycles, bicycles and people.
We checked in to our hotel and went off to see the sights , sounds and experience that is Morogoro.

Many, many street vendors

Women dress in beautiful color...

Tools of the trade

Street side craftsmen, fabric shops are a great surprise...

Whacking a coconut open...

Street side bicycle repair is real common, one on every corner...
Right now is breakfast time. we will taxi down to Raychels house (couple of miles) then off to see if we can find a tailor and fabric for some authentic Tanzanian fashion.....for Kris....we will also tour Raychel's Peace Corp facilities and meet her co-workers......
Tomorrow is a 5 hour bus ride up to Iringa...stay tuned....
